The protection and safety of personally identifiable information is of the highest priority to me. Therefore, I, Heike Falkenberg, Benrodestraße 18, 40597 Düsseldorf, Germany, adhere strictly to the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG – Bundesdatenschutzgesetz) as well as to the German Telemedia Act (TMG – Telemediengesetz). Below, I am informing you as to which type of data are recorded and for which purpose they are collected:

1. Data transmission / data logging
When visiting this site, the web server automatically logs log files/entries that cannot be associated with a specific person. This data includes, for instance, the browser type and version, the operating system used, the referrer URL (the page visited previously), the IP address of the inquiring computer, the access date and time of the server query, and the file query of the client (file name and URL). This data is collected only for the purpose of statistical analysis. It is not passed on to third parties for commercial or non-commercial purposes.

2. Utilisation of personally identifiable information
Personally identifiable information is recorded or processed only if you provide this information voluntarily, e.g. in the context of an inquiry. If there are no necessary reasons in connection with a business transaction, the customer can – at any time – withdraw the previously granted approval to the storage of his or her personally identifiable information with immediate effect, in writing (e.g. via e-mail or by mail). The customer data will not be passed on to third parties unless a passing on is required due to statutory regulations or necessary in order to process the order initiated by the customer.

3. Security of your data
The personal data provided by the customer are secured by taking all technical and organizational security measures in such a way that they are inaccessible for access by unauthorized third parties. When sending very sensitive data or information, it is recommended to use the postal service, since a complete data security by e-mail cannot be guaranteed.

4. Information, modification and deletion of personal data
In accordance with applicable law, the Internet site visitor may at any time, in writing (eg by e-mail or by letter), ask the operator of the website whether and which personal data about him or her are being stored. A corresponding notification of this is forthwith. The customer has the right that his or her personal data stored with us will be deleted. It is sufficient for the customer to provide us with a corresponding notification (by post or email) in which the customer requests the deletion. A corresponding deletion will then take place immediately. The customer will receive a confirmation as soon as the deletion has occurred.

5. Notice re. Google Analytics
This website utilises Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “Cookies”, text files which are stored on your computer and which allow for an analysis of your utilisation of the website. The information that the cookie generates about your use of this website (including your IP address) is transferred to and stored on a Google server in the USA. Within member states of the EU or in contracting states of the Treaty on the European Economic Area, your IP address will be shortened by Google and transmitted anonymized to a Google server in the USA. However, in exceptional circumstances it may happen that the whole IP address is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened only once it is there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for the website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transmit this information to third parties, if it is legally mandated to do this or to the extent third parties are processing this data on behalf of Google. In no case, Google will link the customer’s IP address with other data of Google Inc. The customer can prevent the installation of the cookies via a corresponding browser plug-in (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en); however, it is being pointed out that in this case it may not be possible to make full use of all functions of this website. By using this website the customer agrees to the usage of the data collected on his or her activity by Google – in the way and for the purpose described above.

6. Cookies
In some spots of the website, so-called “session cookies” are being utilised to make using the website easier for you. These are small text files that are stored on the customer’s hard drive only for the duration of the visit to the website and are deleted again upon closing the browser, dependent on the settings of the respective browser program. These cookies do not retrieve any information about the customer stored on the customer’s hard drive and do not affect the PC or the data stored thereon. Most browsers are configured such that they automatically accept cookies. However, the storing of cookies can be deactivated or the browser can be configured such that it provides a notification of the sending and/or of the creation of cookies.

7. Changes to these data protection statements
These guidelines regarding the protection of personally identifiable customer information are updated from time to time. Therefore, these guidelines should be viewed occasionally in order to stay current on how customer-related data is being protected and how the content of this website is continuously being improved. If a significant change is performed in the collection, utilisation and/or passing on of personally identifiable information provided by the customer, the website visitors will be alerted to this by a clear and well visible notice on the website. By using the website, the customer consents to the conditions of these guidelines regarding the protection of personally identifiable information. You may withdraw this consent at any time via an informal notification to the responsible party.
