Heike Falkenberg born in 1962, founded the practice Falkenberg for Interior Architecture, Consulting and Design. From 1999 to 2011 she established and managed the interior design department within the practice of Rhode, Kellermann, Wawrowsky Architektur und Städtebau, initially as a project manager, then as managing director and partner.

Winning 10 competitions and being runners-up for the German Interior Architecture Prize in 2002 as well as the realization of numerous large scale projects testify to the success of her work and team leadership

Another focus is the design, the development from first sketch through to series-production of furniture and other objects. Functionality, clarity and reduction of Falkenberg designs led also to commercial success. The development and expansion Heike Falkenberg’s own practice has been gradual since 2009 – initially in parallel with the activities at Rhode, Kellermann, Wawrowsky. She was lecturer for the Summer Semester 2011 at the Peter Behrens School of Architecture Dusseldorf.
