Finally after ten months of planning and construction the new AKRIS boutique in Düsseldorf opened its doors on 2 July 2016. The ground floor retail space in the existing building from  1909 has been completely renovated and converted to provide space for the exquisite collection of the Swiss high end fashion design house of AKRIS.

In her article for Westdeutsche Zeitung from 16 July 2016 Inge Hugschlag reported about the move of the fashion label AKRIS to the Giradet-House on Köningsallee. She examines the history of the label, as well as the new designed concept of the boutique as a gallery for fashion.
