AKRIS | BOUTIQUE. DÜSSELDORF

The concept for the new AKRIS Boutique in Düsseldorf was to stage the creations of the Swiss fashion designer Albert Kriemler as sophisticated, high-quality works of art. It was important to create an atmosphere of intimate privacy for the wealthy, international customers of the house, but at the same time to position the 250 m² sales area as a publicly perceptible event and presentation venue. This apparent contradiction was solved with the help of hidden sliding walls. If necessary and when closed, the secluded rear end of the boutique can be used as a private, exclusive compartment, while in the open state the entire boutique can be used as a catwalk.
